Kids’ Summer Book Club

Calling all elementary readers (ages 8-12) who love books! Join us for a middle-grade book club discussion on July 15th at 2:00pm, facilitated by elementary reading specialist Katie Hartman M.Ed.
Readers will bring a book they've already finished and loved to share with the group. All readers in attendance will also be given the opportunity to have their recommendations featured in our bookstore!

Author Event with Ethan Joella

Get ready for an exciting evening with author Ethan Joella! We will sit down with Ethan to discuss his new book, The Top of the World, its connection to Pennsylvania, his writing process, and his inspiration. We will then open things up to the audience for questions and follow up with book signings.
Your $30 ticket will get you a hardcover copy of The Top of the World and refreshments during the event.

Custom Journal, Bookmark, and Spritz Bar

Stop in any time between 6 pm and 8 pm on August 6th to design your own journal or bookmark while sipping on a custom-made spritz. Jessica from Bookish Trinkets will be here with everything you need to make several varieties of charm bookmarks, and Juli from A&J Studio will be here with a variety of Italian leather, charms, and paper inserts to design your own custom journal.
Book Launch with Madison Tyler Nelson

Join us in celebrating the launch of Madison Tyler Nelson's debut novel, Portrait of a Haunting! Hosts Adam and Rebecca from the podcast Horrifically Well Read, Bled, and Said will sit down with Madison to discuss her debut novel, the book's inspiration, and her ties to the York area. We will then open things up to the audience for questions and follow up with book signings. Books will be available for purchase during the event.
This is a FREE event, but tickets are required.

Join us for recurring crafting evenings at the bookstore! Bring a project you're working on, or start something new! Some supplies will be provided, but please bring your own as well. Tara and Brooke from Flora and Fiber will be here to give advice or assist with those tricky crochet or knitting projects.
Grab a coffee from Restless, bring a snack, and drop in or stay for the whole time. Anything goes in this flexible and relaxed crafting night.
Crafting nights will be held on the LAST TUESDAY OF THE MONTH.
