Books and Hooks - Craft Nights

Join us for recurring crafting evenings at the bookstore! Bring a project you're working on, or start something new! Some supplies will be provided, but please bring your own as well. Tara and Brooke from Flora and Fiber will be here to give advice or assist with those tricky crochet or knitting projects.
Grab a coffee from Restless, bring a snack, and drop in or stay for the whole time. Anything goes in this flexible and relaxed crafting night.
Crafting nights will be held on the LAST TUESDAY OF THE MONTH.
Children’s Storytime w/Ms. Lori
First and Third Fridays of the Month

Bring your little ones for a morning of stories and fun. Ms Lori, a retired York City librarian, will be here to introduce you to new stories and some of everyone’s favorite classics. Storytime is for ages 2-4, with older and younger siblings always welcome!
Book Launch with Mary Rothwell

Spend the evening with us as we explore the various ways we resemble plants and how our environment and care matter to our general well-being.
In Nature Knows: Grow and Thrive through the Wisdom of Plants, licensed therapist and certified forest therapy practitioner Mary Rothwell invites you to stop trying to "fix" yourself-and start understanding yourself.
Drawing from decades of counseling adults and a lifelong devotion to observing plant life, Mary introduces the concept of Essential Nature: the unique combination of needs, rhythms, sensitivities, and strengths that shape how each of us is meant to grow.
Mary will use real plants as examples during this interactive, fun event! Grab a signed copy of "Nature Knows" that evening to reference later. Light refreshments will be served at the event. We can't wait to see you there!
